Wow time flies, Mia turned one this week! It's hard to believe how fast the last year has passed us by. Mia is getting so big and I know she is doing so many things. Candace and Alex are some seriously proud parents. They are so unbelievably happy with Mia and have decided they aren't done yet. Candace and Alex have asked me to journey with them again, so we are planning to transfer again in Jan! I am sure that we will be updating here so keep a watch out for the process to start again, and wish the birthday girl a Happy one!

Life couldn't be better!
Just a quick update from the other side of team Mia! I spoke to Andrea this morning and it reminded me that I hadn't been here to update. I was so happy to hear that her and her family and doing so well and happy as ever (love them!)
We are just thrilled with our little girl (who is not so little lol!). She is growing up way too fast and is a bundle of excitement and wonder. She has the greatest balance of a goofy sense of humor and a sophisticated curiousity about her. We are totally biased but think she is a bit of a genious! She is very close to crawling at this point but her newest trick is going from a sit to a crawling position and then back to a sit. She loves her schedule and routine during the day, loves her nanny, and of course adores her big sister Abby.
We are still breastfeeding like champs and I am so so happy that we have made it this far. Each month is another milestone for us. Mia has been so healthy and she LOVES to nurse and so does mommy! Daddy even wishes that he had boobs!
Mia is eating well and likes lots of different flavors. Her favorite right now is Indian spiced sweet potatoes and tofu! I am having fun cooking for her at home and exposing her to real foods so she establishes her preferences early. She has a great pincher grasp and has started to eat some finger foods, which she adores because she feels like such a big kid! She now has 6 teeth, yup 6 and I think she is do for some more soon.
